The Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities Accrediting Agency, Inc. (ACSCU-AAI)had its 32nd National Assembly at the Nature’s Village Resort, Talisay Highway, Talisay City, Negros Occidental with the theme, “Tradition of Excellence and Strong Spiritual Virtues in a Changing Academic Landscape”. This was supplemented by CHED’s Issues and Concerns which were given emphasis by Dr. Dennis R. Rebuena, Chief Education Program Specialist, who was likewise the keynote speaker on the first day. A very comprehensive discussion on Raising Children in the Digital Age was given by Dr. Maxwin Cebu-Diente. Dr. Roderick Aguirre expounded on Issues and Challenges in the Implementation of the New Educational Reform while Dr. Hector G. Goyares Jr., President of the Adventist Medical Center in Bacolod shared on “Take Good Care of Your H. E. A. R. T. for a Better Management. Delegates from different colleges and universities throughout the Philippines applauded the speakers.
During the closing ceremony, Professor Angelito P. PedreÑo, Executive Director of the ACSCU-AAI together with the Board Members handed awards to deserving colleges and universities on Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 accreditation and reaccreditation statuses . It was a great honor for Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) to be conferred with Level 2- Five Year Reaccreditation Status. Dr. Pablo F. Busquit, the Dean of the Graduate School,and ProfessorLiliosa P. Moneva , Quality Assurance Officer, humbly received the award. The award was a product of the team efforts of people assigned in the nine (9) areas as focused in the accreditation with the whole hearted support of the Administration, staff and students of the institution,
